The Hong Kong Prize recognizes individuals and teams who have made outstanding contributions to society, whether that is selflessness, community service, innovation for good, cultural preservation or entrepreneurialism. The awards also seek to honour genuine charity and civic awareness while inspiring other Hong Kong residents. A panel of judges selects winners.
Presented annually by the Hong Kong Filmmakers’ Association, the Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA) honor the outstanding accomplishments of local professional and amateur film makers. Winners are determined through ballot by an expert jury consisting of representatives from thirteen professional film bodies.

Individual champion Abraham Ancer beat Cameron Smith and Paul Casey in a play-off for his title while reigning champions Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson each finished as runners-up in team competitions.
HKJC employees carefully test all materials used for drawing, from boxing to transport. Balls are regularly weighed and X-rayed before being securely locked away after each draw. Furthermore, measures are taken to prevent unauthorised access to the draw area, with video surveillance in place to ensure transparency.
The Hong Kong Prize was established to honour George B. Endacott, a teacher who had dedicated 50+ years of service in the History Department at University of Hong Kong. He played an essential role in revitalizing it after WWII and later turned his time and expertise to teaching and researching Hong Kong history – an accolade recognized through this prize.
The Hong Kong Prize is one of the prizes awarded at the International Convention of Asia Scholars. It recognizes books which demonstrate an exceptional level of scholarship in Hong Kong studies, with the winning title being published by Society for Hong Kong Studies with a grant of HK$100,000.
